Company History

The company Strojírna Vimperk spol. s r.o. (Vimperk Engineering Plant, limited liability company) was founded in 1993. The main objective of the company was to introduce production in the field of metalworking. Production first began in rented premises and once a new production room of 1440m2 was put into operation as of 1998, production moved to Vimperk. The object of metal working on CNC machinery is components for lorries and passenger cars delivered in large series above all to west European countries.

Apart from the production room, an administrative section and operations location was also built for the company.

The gradual extension of production in the company made it an important local employer where about sixty employees currently work.
